overview

During the design bootcamp within Bits of Good, my class and I learned Figma and how to create a case study. Each week, as practice, we examined a portion of ui such as splash page or home page, with our instructor telling us to redesign a section of a company's website or app.

approach

I tried to incorporate novel yet intuitive and clean ideas to each one of the designs while maximizing the user experience of using the application. I also tried to maintain the style and feeling of each application, allowing a study on design systems in the process.

Left is my redesign. In my redesign, I made the interface incorporate greater interactive properties, allowing you to access much more information in a simpler more seamless way.

Left is my redesign. I incorporated a cleaner font and also the brand's identity to convey something I believed to be a better reflection of my interpretation of the brand's mission.

Top three frames are my redesign. I wanted to experiment with Apple's older skeuomorphic design language in tandem with its new one. I believe that with the rise of AR, skeuomorphism may be on the rise again with the lines between reality and the virtual being blurred.
